Features of Flotation Machine: 
 Flotation Machine is the latest design to use the circular tank concept and combines the benefits of circular cells with the unique features of the Minerals mechanism to create the ideal conditions to maximize floatation performance for all roughing, cleaning and scavenging duties, which can be used to separate nonferrous metal, ferrous metal, noble metal, nonmetallic mine, chemical material and recycle mine. It features: high inhalation, low power. Each chute can inhale gas, sink magma, separate. There is no need of accessory equipments horizontal equipment. It is easy to change the flow chart. The cycling way of magma is very reasonable. It can reduce the impurities to a great extent. There is automatic equipment on the magma surface. It is easy to adjust. The upward one makes the magma cycle toward upward, which the downward one makes the magma cycle downward. 

working principle

When flotation machine works, slurry is inhaled from the bottom of the trough to the space between impellers. Meanwhile, the low-pressure air send by fan is sent to this area through the air distributor in the hollow shaft. After sufficient mixing, the slurry is pushed out by the impeller, and then goes to the whole trough. When the froth rises to the stable level, after the enrichment processing, froth overflows to the froth trough from the overflow weir. Another part of ore slurry flows to lower part of impeller for the remit with air. The remained slurry flows to the next trough until becomes residue.

The structure of flotation machine

The impeller of the principal axis rotates by the driven of electric motor through the V-belt and then

produces centrifugal function resulting in negative pressure. On one hand, it intakes enough air to mix

with slurry. On the other hand, it mixes slurry and medicine, fine the foam in order that the mineral can

stick on the foam, and then it turns into mineral foam after floating on the slurry. Adjust the height of

stopper to control fluid level in order that the available foam can be scrapped out by scrappers.

Application of flotation machine

• Floatation machine is applicable for the separation of nonferrous metal and ferrous metals, such asfluorite, talc, copper, lead,zinc, nickel, molybdenum,etc.




 

• It can be used to separate non-ferrous metal, ferrous metal, noble metal, non-metallic mine, chemical material. It can be used in roughing, scavenging, selection or reverse flotation. In the flotation process, after being mixed with drug, some qualified mineral attaches on bubble, floats on the surface of slurry and is scraped out, other mineral still stays in the slurry, so the separating purpose is finished
