Rotary kiln application

Rotary Kilns are commonly used for heat processing of minerals and aggregates such as lime, cement, and iron ore. To achieve consistent quality results, it is important to maintain a uniform product temperature at the kiln entry, mid zone, and discharge. In most rotary kilns, the challenge with temperature process control is that the temperature sensor must view through flames or heavy smoke and dust. Consequently, when selecting a sensor, the design, wavelength, and alignment are all important considerations.

The supporting roller bearings features smaller width over diameter ratio L/D, leading to its higher reliability. 3.The special high-started torque motor for cement industry rotary kiln is applied for driving system. The sealing of labyrinth plus spring pressing with asbestos heat isolation layers attached, is applied higher so that reliability and longer service life of sealing are achieved

Rotary Kiln Features:

1. Support device: advanced shaft structure, automatic temperature measuring device and electrical heating,.

2. Catch wheel: including two kinds mechanical wheel and hydraulic pressure

3. Gears:  single or double. Control the rotating speed by buncher, DE machine and frequency variable motor. Be reliable, energy-saving, and efficient.

4. Cylinder tyre bolster: lower bolster has three types: fixed, zoom and floating. The structure is simple, replacement is convenient and won't hurt cylinder.

5. Sealing equipment: there are many kinds for choice according to kiln models, including air cylinder edge sealing, spring edge sealing, and graphite block sealing and combination for above. 

6. Kiln head hood:  including stationary type and flexible type.

Rotary kiln belongs to building material equipment, which can be divided into cement kiln, metallurgy chemical kiln and lime kiln according to different materials. Cement kiln is used for making of cement clinker and there are dry and wet methods to make cement. Metallurgy chemical kiln is used in metallurgy industry and ironworks for lean iron ore, chromium ore and ferronickel ore calcimine.

Rotary kiln is used for calcimine of high aluminum vandal ochre in refractory material industry, calcimine of calotte and aluminum hydroxide in aluminum manufacturer, claiming of chrome sand ore and chrome powder ore in chemical plant.
